Diablo II Gets Its First New Class in 25 Years—And It Costs $25
Blizzard just resurrected a 25-year-old ghost in the graveyard of Diablo II: Resurrected—and it's not the undead they're summoning.
The Warlock arrives as the game's first new class in a quarter-century via the $25 Reign of the Warlock DLC. The expansion adds new items, Colossal Ancients bosses, and the $40 Infernal Edition bundle for new players.
This class also debuts in Diablo 4 (April's Lord of Hatred expansion) and Diablo Immortal. Notably, Diablo 3 remains untouched in this update cycle.
The rollout aligns with Blizzard's 35th anniversary content push and Overwatch 2's hero expansion timeline.
