Players are now the artists in Dead by Daylight's next chapter—your vote picks the scarred survivor and hellish killer. The game opened community voting for the next killer and survivor designs, with survivors featuring four scarred figures including heterochromia, a blind eye, and unique taglines.

Killer designs range from tyrannical angels to a winged blindfolded figure and a screaming face in a cloud.

"Oft underestimated, your particular insights gave you an advantage in the wasteland" is one survivor's tagline, while a killer description reads: "Deliver your almighty punishments." Voting occurs via a "spooky book" on the game's website, following Deadlock's in-game voting for hero releases.
