Warhammer World Invades the US, Bugman Ale and All

A grimdark McDonald’s PlayPlace for Warhammer nerds is coming to America in 2027—and yes, there’s a Bugman burger. Warhammer World, Games Workshop’s themed venue, will open in late 2027 just outside Washington, DC. The US location promises to deliver an experience that is “equally uncompromising on quality and experience, something worthy of Warhammer’s rich settings and of course the title ‘Warhammer World.’”

The venue will function as a multifunctional space: a hobby store, gaming area, social hub, museum, and restaurant.

The restaurant’s Warhammer-themed menu includes items like Bugman’s Ale, while the original Nottingham location remains “well-loved.” The US version, however, will serve as “a flagship venue that celebrates Warhammer in all its forms.”
