Visible Wireless Gives You $5 for Their Verizon Outage—But Verizon Gave Its Customers $20

Visible Wireless slaps a $5 credit on your bill for a nationwide Verizon outage—but why does the discount sting more than the outage itself?

Visible Wireless customers received a $5 credit toward their next bill following a Verizon cell service outage. Verizon offered a $20 credit to its own customers for the same outage.

Visible Wireless' message to customers stated: "Yesterday we let you down and for that we are sorry. We are giving you a $5 credit towards your next month of service that can be redeemed after Jan 16 when paying with a credit card online."

A Visible subreddit user reported receiving the $5 credit only after contacting customer support. Visible Wireless is a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) owned by Verizon.
