The Ecco Resurgence: 2,300 Hours to an Iconic Reboot
A 30-year silence ends with a countdown clock ticking at 2,300 hours until April 2026. A&R Atelier, a new California-based studio, confirmed as developer for the reboot. Original producer Ed Annunziata now serves as CCO for the project.
The press release mentions "several new Ecco the Dolphin products and games" in development.
The Ecco website states the team includes "original creators from the classic games" alongside "talented new team members."
