Hollow Knight: Silksong won Game of the Year and Best Game You Suck At at the 2025 Steam Awards. The category name—ironically celebrating games that challenge players—paired with the title’s decade-long development cycle raised eyebrows.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 claimed Best Soundtrack, while Hades 2 took Best Game on Steam Deck. Baldur’s Gate 3 won Labor of Love, and Dispatch earned Outstanding Story-Rich Game.
