Sigourney Weaver’s sharp collar and business attire are already stealing the show—before a single line of dialogue is written. Amazon’s Tomb Raider series, currently filming in the UK, has cast Weaver as Evelyn Wallis, a high-flying woman “keen to exploit Lara’s talents.”

Sophie Turner will portray Lara Croft as “so unashamedly capable,” a stark contrast to Wallis’s “exploitative” ambitions. Phoebe Waller-Bridge (FleabagKilling Eve) serves as creator, writer, and co-showrunner. The confirmed cast includes Jason Isaacs as Lara’s Uncle Atlas, Martin Bobb-Semple as Zip, Bill Paterson as Winston, and Celia Imrie as Francine.
