The Roku Channel has quietly crossed 500 free ad-supported channels as of early April 2026, a threshold reached after six new channels arrived in January, 17 more in February, and over 35 additional channels in March including National Geographic History, MotoGP, and more than 20 dedicated game show channels featuring The Price Is RightFamily FeudHell's KitchenSurvivor, and The Amazing Race.

CEO Anthony Wood stated the company is on track to surpass 100 million streaming households in 2026, and that the Roku service already runs in more than half of all broadband households nationwide.

The expansion arrives as nearly 69% of households used at least one free ad-supported streaming service by late 2025, according to the source.

Recent additions include Tyler Perry's Ruthless Seasons 1-5 and Zatima, both available at no cost as of April 7, 2026. Live coverage of The Masters 2026 and a PAW Patrol Valiente special follow on April 8. The platform is also running a Spring Savings promotion through April 2026 offering discounted premium subscriptions including STARZ and AMC+.

The Roku Channel's live TV guide now includes a built-in search feature and AI-powered recommendation rows designed to reduce scrolling fatigue across the expanded library.

The service is available without Roku hardware on Fire TV devices, Samsung Smart TVs, and through iOS and Android mobile apps.
