Resident Evil Requiem Teases Blood, Screams, and a Birthday Showcase

Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem showcase promises to bleed, scream, and maybe even leak a few surprises. The 12-minute presentation drops on 15th January at 10pm UK time—right before the game’s 27th February release on PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.

Leon Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft (daughter of Alyssa from Resident Evil Outbreak) are confirmed to return, though Capcom’s rep said: “I won’t spoil it here, don’t worry.” Alex’s hands-on test revealed some intense reactions:

“Even the relatively small chunk he played made him scream so loudly that those in the booth next door heard him.”

Capcom also addressed PC performance concerns after Monster Hunter Wilds’ technical issues, promising “smooth 60fps on mid-range hardware.” Early reactions call it a “grindy banger”—a mix of punishing action and nostalgic charm.
