Resident Evil Requiem: 15 Tips to Outwit Leon, Outrun the Girl, and Survive the Blister Heads

Resident Evil Requiem gameplay showing Leon and Grace in contrasting combat scenarios

Survival just got a whole lot trickier in Resident Evil Requiem—here’s how to outlast the hordes without blowing your ammo budget.

The game’s dual protagonists, Leon and Grace, force players to adapt to contrasting playstyles: Grace’s first-person stealth and resourcefulness versus Leon’s third-person combat and mobility. Mastering both requires balancing inventory management, weapon upgrades, and enemy-specific tactics.

Grace’s Hemolytic Injector and Leon’s Hatchet serve as stealth tools, but their utility diverges. Grace must scavenge for storage crates and upgrade her Hip Pouch to carry more items, while Leon invests credits into weapon and armor upgrades.

Both characters rely on Scrap and Infected Blood for crafting, but Leon’s supply boxes offer more flexibility for late-game weapon swaps. Ammo conservation is critical—Blister Heads demand headshots, and The Girl’s light-averse attacks require rapid evasion.

Collectibles like Mr. Raccoon statues and Charms unlock lore and post-game rewards, but the 75 files scattered across the map are non-optional for maxing out Challenge Points.

The Deluxe Edition, available exclusively on the Epic Games Store, includes cosmetic upgrades like weapon skins and filters, but the base game’s resource management remains its toughest challenge.
