The January PS Plus Premium and Extra tiers feature a mix of AAA titles and niche experiments. Resident Evil Village and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth headline the roster, while The Exit 8—a Japanese underground passageway 'walking simulator'—serves as the exclusive Premium title.

Described as a game where 'you are trapped in this seemingly endless passageway, and have to pay careful attention to your surroundings in order to find your way out,' The Exit 8 has drawn curiosity from players. One fan admitted: 'I am personally quite curious about The Exit 8... I am going to give this one a bash.'

Other selections include A Little to the Left, a cosy puzzle game where you organise household items. The lineup also features the cryptic description: 'If you haven't heard of it before, it's a walking simulator inspired by Japanese underground passageways.'
