Process roulette: The game that’s crashing PCs for fun—and maybe selling malware on the side.

IceSolst’s Cursor AI app on X randomly kills processes via PID, with its store page linking to a $hitcoin malware marketplace. Codebox’s 5-year-old GitHub app warns users that its ‘i am a coward’ command ‘could mess up your machine pretty badly.’

Jamis’ decade-old multiplayer version runs in a VM and is described as ‘slightly more well-defined game.’

‘A silly little game that could mess up your machine pretty badly (please use a VM!)’ — the developer of Codebox’s app said. Safety warnings note that ‘restarting after crash usually fixes it’ unless malware is installed.
