Predator: Badlands 2026 Digital and 4K Blu-ray Release Details Revealed

Predator: Badlands 4K Ultra HD and Steelbook edition packaging with bonus content

Disney 20th Century Studios has announced the release strategy for Predator: Badlands, which will become available for digital rental and purchase on January 6, 2026, via Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.

This digital rollout precedes the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray physical media launch scheduled for February 17, 2026. The physical editions include standard and limited Steelbook variants, each containing 4K UHD, Blu-ray, a digital copy, and bonus content. No streaming release date has been confirmed for Hulu or Disney+.

The film, which generated $184 million in global box office revenue against a $105 million production budget, represents a calculated market approach. By offering digital access first, the studio may aim to capture immediate consumer interest while preserving physical media sales for collectors and enthusiasts.

The Steelbook edition’s inclusion of bonus material suggests a focus on value-added content to differentiate the physical release.

Industry analysts note that the staggered release strategy aligns with broader trends in media distribution, where digital accessibility often precedes physical formats. However, the absence of a streaming announcement leaves uncertainty about the film’s long-term availability.

The financial performance, while profitable, does not indicate whether the production will recoup marketing costs or achieve profitability beyond initial revenue figures.
