Plaud NotePin S wearable AI notetaker with physical button and accessories

A physical button turns every meeting into a highlight reel—and yes, it’s finally in your pocket.

Plaud launched the $179 NotePin S, a pin-style AI notetaker with a physical button for recording and highlighting key points during meetings. The device includes a clip, lanyard, magnetic pin, and wristband for flexibility, plus Apple Find My support.

Specifications include 64GB storage, 20-hour battery, 9.8-foot dual MEMS mic range, and 300 free transcription minutes/month.

"One nice thing about the $179 Plaud NotePin S is that you get a clip, a lanyard, a magnetic pin, and a wristband in the package." The company said the pin is suited for people who are constantly on the go.

The desktop app captures system audio during meetings and structures transcriptions with AI, adding multimodal support (images, typed notes) previously introduced in other Plaud apps.

"The company said that the pin is suited for people who are constantly on the go."

Plaud has sold over 1.5 million devices and competes with Granola, Fathom, and Fireflies. Brian Heater’s 2024 review noted user sentiment favors physical controls for quick access in fast-paced environments.

As someone who’s constantly in meetings, the NotePin S’s portability and physical button make capturing notes effortless.
