Phasmophobia’s 2026 Roadmap: 4 Events, 3 Maps, and the 1.0 Launch That’s Got Ghost Hunters Talking
Phasmophobia’s 2026 roadmap drops a ghostly treasure trove: 4 events, 3 maps, and that long-awaited 1.0 launch. The developers confirmed four seasonal events, three maps (two reworked, one new) and a full 1.0 release. A player character overhaul with free cosmetics and animations arrives March 2026, alongside a Unity 6 update and Nintendo Switch 2 port.
"Brave ghost hunters will need to gear up for a host of new spooks and scares," said the team. Tanglewood map receives layout tweaks and a hidden mystery at 6 Tanglewood Drive, while Willow Street’s rework lacks layout similarity guarantees. A one-time mystery event is teased for later 2026.
"This year is set to be a big one for Phasmophobia" they added. The 1.0 launch is described as "one of the biggest moments since the game’s launch."
"We are constantly working on creating a truly immersive experience" the developers emphasized. Technical updates and new content will keep the ghost-hunting community engaged through 2026.
