Hytale’s undead summoning tool is a work in progress—just don’t expect a full-blown necromancy revolution yet. The Grimoire: Rekindle Embers lets players summon undead hordes via Piles of Bones, but Simon Collins-Laflamme, Hypixel CEO, clarified its current state.

Simon Collins-Laflamme said:

"This is just a random drop fun item, it will evolve over time."

The grimoire drops in Zone 4 from Burnt Skeleton Praetorians. Its latest update adds armor slot toggles, inventory shortcuts, and 3,000+ mods on CurseForge.

Players initially panicked over its underwhelming execution, though cosmetic touches like vampire teeth and decorative lights offer some flair.

While the feature feels incomplete, mod support hints at future potential. For now, Hytale’s necromancy remains a placeholder—modders and patient players might yet breathe life into it.
