Amazon Prime Video ranks Fallout Season 2 as its sixth biggest season of all time—even as Nielsen data shows a significant drop in viewership compared to Season 1. The series’ premiere and eight Season 1 episodes generated 794 million viewing minutes (Dec 15-21), less than one-third of Season 1’s 2.9 billion viewing minutes in April 2024.

Peter Friedlander, Amazon MGM Studios’ head of global TV, said:

"We are thrilled with the Fallout S2 reception... More than half of the season's audience to-date has come from outside the US."

Season 2 currently holds the top spot for returning series on Prime Video, placing fourth overall behind Season 1, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Seasons 1-2, and Reacher Seasons 2-3. Amazon confirmed Season 3 production will begin May 1, 2026, alongside a new 10-episode reality show titled "Fallout Shelter."

The series is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS, PS3, and Xbox 360.
