Villainy just got a new career path—and it’s point-and-click. Earth Must Die, a space comedy from Dan Marshall’s Size Five Games, will launch on 27th January with a Steam demo. The game’s core mechanic? How much of a dick you’re going to be.
Players control VValak Lizardtongue, a villain who refuses to pick up items "because he thinks it’s beneath him." The lack of inventory system forces players to rely on dialogue and sheer audacity.
Voice actors include Joel Fry (Game of Thrones), Ben Starr, and Alex Horne (Taskmaster), described as a "comedian-packed" cast.
No More Robots, the publisher, confirmed the game is an eight-hour experience. Size Five Games previously released Lair of the Clockwork God (2020), praised for its "bottomless wit and some inspired design choices."
