Borderlands 4’s New Vault Hunter Is a CasinoBot Who Broke the House and Your Build

C4sh the Rogue brings slot-machine chaos to Borderlands 4 on March 26—no capstones, just four stacked Augments and a grin that steals your cash.

C4sh the Rogue stands before a glowing slot machine, dual revolvers ready, in Borderlands 4.

Gearbox just double-downed on chaos with a literal slot-machine Vault Hunter. C4sh the Rogue arrives March 26 in Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, and he’s already stacking the deck against your wallet—no pockets required.

C4sh’s past life as a CasinoBot ended when he “won” the magical Deck of Kanansi. Now he’s hunting Vaults for bigger risks and bigger payouts. His three skill trees skip traditional capstones; instead, each tree coughs up an extra Augment slot. Stack four Augments across trees and watch the house rules burn.

Action skills? Cleromancy rolls dice, Sleight of Hand flings cards, Cross-Fire spins dual revolvers. Randomness scales from “mildly annoying” to “where did my shield go,” but every pull stays player-influenceable—think loot-shooter roulette with a cheat button.

The devs swore they’d never do another Claptrap-style wildcard. Then they did it anyway. Tommy Westerman admitted, “I’ve had ideas in my head of things I wanted to fix, change, or tweak,” which is corporate speak for “we missed the chaos and doubled down.”

You’ll need the base game; C4sh is included in the Super Deluxe Edition and the Vault Hunter Pack.
